Glass-epoxy profiles are used as insulating and structural components of electrical equipment, devices and apparatus (motors, transformers, generators).
Glass-epoxy profiles are made of E or ECR glass fibre saturated with epoxy composition with F or H heat resistance class. The profiles are formed by pultrusion. They can be cut into sections and, in the case of smaller diameters, wound into coils.
